[SYNOPSIS]
Close Far Away is a compelling contemporary drama thriller, set in Africa and Europe.

Five interlocking stories converge at the end and reveal a complex and unique story of the lives of humanity around the world and how we truly are not all that different.

In Somalia, a Red Cross doctor has just lost his colleague and while struggling with his grief he decides to go on one last mission. In Chechnya, a young soldier is forced to take a fatal decision that will come to change his life forever. In former Yugoslavia, a young photographer tries to make a breakthrough in media, and pushes her moral limits. In England, a former mercenary plans the coup of his life while an officer at the immigration service has the life of other in her hands.

Combined, it provides a powerful story and an equally powerful looking glass into the lives of seemingly random people around the world and it shows just how connected we really are.
