[SYNOPSIS]
A promising young man suddenly dies. His mother, girlfriend, brother and cousin try to accept and overcome his death in their own ways. At times, they become hostile to each other; at other times, they forgive one another. What will his death bring to the bereaved family?

Caran Hartsfield
Caran Hartsfield earned masuter's degree in film from NYU. Her short film, "KISS IT UP TO GOD", was awarded at the Cannes Film Festival's Cinéfondation in 2000. "BURY ME STANDING" was developed at the Cannes Film Festival's Cinéfondation Residency and furthered at the Sundance Institute Screenwriters and Filmmakers Labs.

[SYNOPSIS]
In 2002, right in the middle of the economic recession in Argentina, a veterinarian is kidnapped. Guillermina, his granddaughter, calls back her mother who had gone into exile to France during the military dictatorship in the 70's. While the two desperately try to come up with the ransom money, they are forced to go through the painful path once again, venting the anger at each other. Mystery of her father's disappearance in 1978 is gradually decoded.

Lucía Cedrón
Born in Buenos Aires, Lucía Cedrón went into exile along with her parents in her childhood. At the Sorbonne, she received degrees in Literature, History and Film. In 2002, she returned to Buenos Aires and made a short "EN AUSENCIA", which won the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival 2003. Her first feature "CORDERO DE DIOS" had its world premiere on the opening night at the Rotterdam International Film Festival 2008.

[SYNOPSIS]
There stands a bar nestled in a quiet corner of a city. Jacques, a cynical and misanthropic owner of the bar, decides to train a young homeless man, Lucas, to take over his bar. Jacques has an urgent reason to do so. The two lives meet and part at the bar.

In the days of grief over the loss of their friends and the fight against her own disease, they embark on the final journey with their favorite dance numbers. Based on a true story, "TWO BY THE RIVER" is a humanistic drama of the last days of an old couple, in quest of happiness. It portrays their painful and yet beautiful last dance of their lives.
