[SYNOPSIS]
Jacobo runs a humble sock factory in Montevideo, Uruguay. His successful younger brother, Herman, from the city plans to visit Jacobo for the first time in 20 years. 60 year-old Jacobo, who lives alone, asks Marta, a long-time employee, for pretending to be his wife during Herman's visit. Marta, who has a monotonous life, enjoys deceiving Herman at first. However, sooner or later, things change.

Juan Pablo Rebella and Pablo Stoll
Juan Pablo Rebella and Pablo Stoll were both born in Montevideo, Uruguay. Together they wrote and directed the feature film 25 WATTS, which won Best First Feature Film at the New Latin American Film Festival in La Habana, Cuba, Best Feature Film at the 8th Independent Film Festival L'Alternativa in Barcelona, Spain, Best Screenplay at the 5th Latin American Film Festival in Lima, Peru, a Special Jury Mention at the Cinema Jove Film Festival in Valencia, Spain and many others. Together with Fernando Epstein, they founded Control Zeta Films, a film production and distribution company that released 25 WATTS in Uruguay and is now developing a feature film and a TV series. Juan Pablo Rebella died in 2006.
