[SYNOPSIS]
Hushpuppy, tenacious and fortitudinous six-year-old girl, lives with her father Wink in a small Louisiana bayou community called Bathtub. Bathtub is close to industrial "dry land," but is completely cut off from it by man-made levee. Once a serious storm hits the place, water rises high and inhabitants use their hands to build a floating shelter to survive. While Wink's health deteriorates with mystery disease, heart beat of the universe dangerously surges. Huge ice gorge parts from ice shelf and floats out from the Antarctic Sea. Inside the ice, a herd of aurochs, gigantic prehistoric beast, sleep frozen. Wink trains Hushpuppy hard, but with deep love, to get her ready to keep on going in the world in which he will not exist any longer.
