Morning Musume｡'14 have launched Girls' World—a part of J-MELO that's just for girls. And now, they're inviting girls everywhere to design costumes you think would look great in their stage show. They'd especially love to see an outfit that reflects the styles or culture in your part of the world. So fire up your imagination, get sketching, and send us your designs!

Our Costume Design Project is Complete!

Thank you to everyone who took part in our costume design project! Viewers in 34 countries sent 123 ideas. Then Morning Musume '14 members Mizuki Fukumura and Haruna Iikubo worked with students at Bunka Fashion College to combine those ideas and turn them into reality. They're giving the costume to Morning Musume '14 leader Sayumi Michishige as a leaving gift.

I'm leaving Morning Musume '14 on November 26. And thanks to J-MELO, I have a wonderful memento to take away and wear. The kawaii costume was a total surprise. I want to thank everyone who came up with ideas for the design. The pink color, the flowers, and the ribbon are all things I love. I'm really grateful to Fuku-chan and Harunan, to the students at Bunka Fashion College, and to all the viewers around the world. Thank you! Sayumi Michishige
