From the Kuroshio Japan Current flowing in from the Pacific to its snow-capped mountains, Fukushima prefecture shows us many different faces throughout spring, summer, fall, and winter. Unknown scenic beauty awaits, as do the stories of countless people. This new program will uncover the unknown stories of rich, beautiful, rugged Fukushima, creating a new map for tourists (fMAP). The subject of the first episode, told through four stories never heard before, is the “miracle rice fields,” based on the rice fields that helped save homes from crisis and turn despair to hope.
