Robotic Arm for Remote Operation of Small Camera
～Achieving flexible shooting styles by using robotic arm for remote operations～
NHK has developed a robotic arm that users can use to operate a small camera remotely. The camera operator moves the control arm to control the position and direction of a small camera mounted on the robotic arm. In response, the robotic arm moves in sync to shift and point the camera in the same direction.
This system allows video filming to be done in places where camera operators cannot enter. It is expected to contribute to filming objects and scenes that have never been captured before.
