The web browser translation function is not provided by NHK. Please note that the translations may not be accurate.
As of December 1, 2022.
For Google Chrome users
Launch Google Chrome and open NHK for School.
Right-click on the page and select "Translate to <language>" from the menu that pops up.
Select the translation icon in the address bar, click the 
icon to the right of detected languages and select "Choose Another Language."
From the "Language to translate into" pull-down menu, select "English" and click the "Translate" button.
The text on the page will be translated to English.
For Microsoft Edge users
Launch Microsoft Edge and open NHK for School.
Right-click on the page and select "Translate to <language>" from the menu that pops up.
Select the translation icon in the address bar and the "Translate page from Japanese?" menu screen will pop up.
From the "Translate to" pull-down menu, select "English" and click the "Translate" button.
The text on the page will be translated to English.
For Safari users
Launch Safari and open NHK for School.
Click the 
button and select "Translate Website."
Select "English." If you do not see it, add it from the "Preferred Language Order" in settings.
The text on the page will be translated to English.
