India-themed event in Nishi-kasai


On December 7, World GO! went to Nishi-kasai, a town which has earned the nickname of “Tokyo’s Little India” for an NHK WORLD-JAPAN promotion event, focusing on the theme of “India”.  



Domo's 20th Anniversary event "Domo Arigatou" in Tokyo


On December 2, World GO! made its way to Futakotamagawa’s shopping center for the Domo’s 20th Anniversary event “Domo Arigatou”.



'Oideyo! NHK Heart Waku-waku Park' in Yamanashi Prefecture


On December 1, World GO! travelled to Yamanashi prefecture to participate in “Oideyo! NHK Heart Waku-waku Park” event held at the NHK Kofu Station.



'NHK Fureai Autumn Festival 2018' in Ehime Prefecture


On November 24 and 25, World GO! made its way to NHK Matsuyama Station in Ehime prefecture for the 'NHK Fureai Autumn Festival 2018'.



2018 Saga International Balloon Fiesta in Saga Prefecture


On November 3 and 4, World GO! visited Saga Prefecture for the 2018 Saga International Balloon Fiesta. A total of 109 balloons from 17 countries and regions participated in the event this year. Over the 5-day event, the number of visitors totaled about 821,000! 


Cycling Shimanami 2018 in Ehime Prefecture

shimanami1.jpgOver the weekend, World GO! was at the finishing area of the Cycling Shimanami 2018 event held in Ehime Prefecture. More than 7,200 cyclists from 22 countries and regions participated in this international cycling event! Cyclists rode on expressways connecting the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, on roads that are normally reserved for vehicles. Cycling Shimanami is the only cycling event in Japan in which participants can ride on the main roads of a functioning expressway. The sense of freedom must have been exhilarating! 


'Furusato no Shoku, Nippon no Shoku' Festival in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture

hyogo1.jpgWorld GO! went to Akashi City in Hyogo Prefecture to participate in the ‘Furusato no Shoku, Nippon no Shoku’ Festival! Translated as “food of our hometown, food of Japan”, it is the 40th iteration of an event celebrating Hyogo residents’ agriculture, forestry and fishery.


Kyoto National Museum in Kyoto Prefecture

World GO! in Shikoku: Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture and Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture
