FUN / PUN: a counter for minutes

2 minutes = NIFUN
10 minutes = JIPPUN / JUPPUN

TE-form verb + WA IKEMASEN

If you say a TE-form verb and then WA IKEMASEN, you mean, "You shouldn't do it".
e.g.)
YAKUSOKU O YABUTTE WA IKEMASEN.
(You shouldn't break promises.)

Japanese adjectives conjugate to become adverbs. We can change I adjectives that end with syllable I, such as HAYAI (early), to adverbs by changing the final I to KU.
