Until earlier this year John was Executive Producer at BBC Learning, responsible for developing and managing digital learning services such as BBC Bitesize, BBC iWonder and BBC Food. He is now is an independent eLearning consultant and teacher, based in Manchester in the North West of England.

His work is inspired by two beliefs. Firstly, that everyone of us is a learner, though sometimes we forget it. And secondly that we’ve barely started to understand and leverage the power of digital technologies as tools for learning.
