We received a progress report from Ms. Glynis Beukes-Kapa, Executive Producer of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation about “Meerkat’s Adventure”, the winner of the best proposal in 2014.

The photos of the kids at the pre-primary school are specifically for Meerkat's Adventure. It is typical of a type of school that is found around Namibia, started at someone's house and serving the neighbourhood. There are 30-40 kids age 3-5 sitting in a one small classroom led by a teacher. The picture shows the 5 year olds singing a song about their bodies and a second one about numbers. The songs are related to the topic of the episode, which focuses on "Myself".
In March and April of 2015, we will finalize the segments on shapes, colours, letters and numbers which are 2D animation. The music is being created, as well as the lyrics that are meant for each of the 8 segments that will be dealt with in each episode. This should be done by May. The 3D animation of the Meerkat as the presenter of the programme is ongoing and will be finished by June if all goes according to plan.
