In its devotion to promoting basic literacy, numeracy, and other early learning skills in a fun and engaging way, Meerkat’s Adventure will positively exploit the capacity of both television and radio to reach and teach on a large scale. The program will build on the appeal of an animated character, based on a familiar, indigenous animal, who is destined to delight the audience it reaches.
While the substantial value of investment in high-quality early childhood education has been well established, far too few children in Namibia have access to its benefit. The program offers an exceptional educational platform for reaching underserved children.
