This is an inspirational concept following the journeys to school through wild and difficult terrain of a number of Sri Lankan school children. In it we will see the children learning in a variety of ways from their environment. They have to contend with raging rivers, and avoid wild animals, as well as interacting with more friendly wildlife and exploring the natural environment they travel through. For these children, getting to school is a continuous adventure. The film will be an inspirational message about active learning, and how young people can face challenges and overcome difficulties. It also has an overall message of the importance of the natural environment. It was clearly thought through, and well presented, with appropriate educational goals. It has a definite and achievable production strategy, an attractive creative vision, and an experienced production team. It will make a wonderful fi lm that will appeal to audiences around the world.

This documentary is based on the village children of Sri Lanka who learn from nature in their village life and schooling facing numerous challenges and taking many risks. Most of the time, many of these children walk along from 1 km to 4 km wild track for one direction, altogether, going to school and coming back home is around 8 km journey which takes hours. In some area of the country, some students have to walk along jungle tracks bordering wild parks which have threat of wild elephants. Some children cross rivers or small water streams by any means to go to school under various weather conditions. Whatever the situation is, nature blesses them creating opportunity to learn how to face challenge and taking risk of the life. They do not have s w immin g p o o l o r swimming instructors but they know how to swim. They learn more about nature with practical engagements strengthening their health, cognition and physical capability.
