In the not-so-distant future, robots, artificial intelligence programs and other technologies are expected to do more and more of the work currently performed by humans. Will this create harmful rises in unemployment and inequality? Or will it grant people greater freedom than ever? In January, panellists at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos discussed the future of work, and how it will affect everything from the way we educate our children to the very structure of our societies.
