Soy Sauce Battered Cauliflower and Chicken Tenderloin
Cauliflower and chicken tenderloins deep-fried in a soy sauce based batter. They can be eaten as is, which makes for a great party snack or side dish!

Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 200 g cauliflower
- 2 chicken tenderloins (120 g)
[Batter]
- 5 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- Sudachi, as needed
- Oil for deep frying

Discard the leaves and cut off the thick stem from the cauliflower. Divide into florets. Remove the tendons from the chicken and cut into three equal pieces.

Combine the [Batter] ingredients in a bowl, and coat the cauliflower and chicken. Heat the oil to 160°C and fry for about 3 minutes until golden brown. Cut the cauliflower into easy-to-eat pieces. Plate up the cauliflower and chicken, and garnish with sudachi.
