BS Digital Broadcasting System
- Experimental total BS digital broadcasting system, from production at the broadcasting station, sending, and
transmission to receivers is exhibited. Transmission characteristics and video and audio quality of the system in
line with the technical specification reported by the Telecommunication Technology Council are demonstrated.
- Experimental program production systems for data broadcasting, e.g. automatic production of electronic program
guide, are introduced.
- Experimental model of built-in type receivers as well as adapters which enables existing Hi-Vision receivers or
standard television receivers to be used without the need to upgrade are exhibited.
- Two digital Hi-Vision programs and new sevrices of data broadcasting(e.g. program associated information) to be
broadcast in one satellite transponder
