Tongue Twister Challenge!-Pronunciation check using speech recognition.
Can you say tongue twisters or hard-to-pronounce words quickly, yet accurately? This speech recognition system will pick up your speech and convert it into text. If you can talk faster than any other participant, with a recognition accuracy of 100%, you set a new record. The system can convert an announcer's speech into closed-captioning text in real-time for live broadcasts.
It can recognize anyone's voice provided that the person speaks correctly. Why not give it a try?

Human-friendly Sound Experience -Making sound easy to listen to for the elderly.
Just as our athletic ability declines with age, most people suffer from varying degrees of hearing loss as they age. This system allows you to simulate the experience of how you will perceive sound volume and speech rate as you get older.
  1. Try it! How good will your hearing be in twenty years? Based on hearing acuity measurements categorized by age bracket, the system reproduces the way you will likely hear in twenty years. Differences in your hearing now and then can be compared.
  2. Try speech rate conversion*!: This exhibit enables you to have the fascinating experience of hearing speech at different rates within the same time frame. How fast can you listen while still being able to accurately comprehend speech?
* This technology is used to slow down fast-paced speech that might be hard for an older person to understand, yet it maintains vocal pitch and individual vocal characteristics.

Produce Surround Sound Your Way!-Simplified surround sound mixer
One of the attractions of digital broadcasting is its 5.1 surround sound audio. Programs with surround sound are normally more difficult to produce than those with stereo sound, but this simplified surround sound mixer allows anyone to easily produce a three-dimensional surround sound presentation. Using a PC mouse, the user can move the sound back and forth and around freely

Listen to 22.2 Multi-channel Sound on Headphones!-Super Hi-Vision sound for personal use.
Experience the incredible quality of 22.2 multi-channel sound for the SHV system through headphones! The headphones reproduce 22.2 multi-channel sound that reproduces the arrival direction and perception characteristics (head-related transfer function). This technology is a potential monitoring system for 22.2 multi-channel sound productions. You can experience the sounds of a bird flying over your head, and a rocket climbing into the sky.

Use Your Cellular Phone to Post Pictures on TV!-Real-time posted image display system-
This system displays images posted by viewers and polling results in CG format in real-time. It promptly reflects viewers responses and postings to a program and gives viewers a chance to participate in a program. This system was used in the "picture posting" and "Kizashi," segments of the program "Tunagaru TV @ Human" (live broadcast in March on GTV). Many viewers took advantage of this new system by participating every week. You can take a picture on a cellular phone and post it for viewing on a monitor.

Perform with CGs in front of a Robot Camera!-Virtual video system-
The robot camera automatically tracks the subject it is assigned to shoot. It is equipped with various sensors that accurately detect camera angle, lens magnification, and its position in a studio. The data enables the images the camera shoots to be synchronized with CGs to create natural-looking composed images. Would you like to perform with a CG character in front of the robot camera?
