| We are studying an advanced broadcasting system that enables us to freely use broadcasting equipment and content not only within a broadcasting station but also among the other broadcasting stations, outside archive facilities and the outdoor broadcast sites via broadband network. |
- We developed an ad hoc wireless network technology that can autonomously and dynamically select the most stable paths among all the wireless relay terminals from the wireless camera to the destination to transmit a video signal without interruption even with an obstructive object in the path.
- The system automatically discovers equipment and materials located at a broadcasting station from a distant site, and it instantaneously constructs the requested program production system.
- A new transmission control protocol enables stable transmission of uncompressed HDTV signals from a distance, via a high-speed IP network.

| In addition to upgrading wireless network technology for HDTV, we will continue to work on the technical developments to expand the functions and improve the reliability toward the realization of an advanced broadcasting system. |
