Fukuromachi National Elementary School, near the epicenter, was turned into a provisional first-aid center immediately after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Many victims were brought there and the school was soon swarming with people looking for missing relatives. Amid the confusion and despair, visitors left messages on the walls pleading for their loved ones to contact them. Those messages were uncovered 55 years after the bombing. The program describes their discovery under thick layers of paint, their reconstruction, and the reactions of relatives who finally received those messages 55 years late.
