The atomic bomb, also known as the pi-ka-don in Japanese. From the moment it exploded to the devastation of Hiroshima took a mere 10 seconds. The massive amount of nuclear radiation that was emitted before the explosion, the thermal radiation that burnt up everything at ground level in 3 seconds, and the blast wave that seized the whole city of Hiroshima. In fact, Hiroshima had already been destroyed when its citizens saw the mushroom-shaped cloud climbing into the sky. With the cooperation of scientists from Japan and the U.S.A., the documentary tries a scientific reconstruction for investigation of the 10-second event, which would mark the beginning of the terrible devastation of Hiroshima, and describes the fear of nuclear weapons
