Nagasaki's Chinzei Gakuin Junior High School suffered catastrophic damage from the atomic bomb. Since school rosters had been destroyed, it had been impossible to identify the number or names of the students or the subsequent whereabouts of the bomb victims after the war. However, a recent discovery of 17 class photos has helped to shed light on what had become of the students. The program focuses on how their days of youth had been taken away in a single moment, and their struggles after the war.
