In January 2003, documents about a group of children, the so-called 'A-bomb class', were discovered at the Shiroyama Primary School, which is only 500 metres from ground-zero in Nagasaki. The documents related a group of children who were still in the womb at the time of the atomic blast. The children were placed in a separate class from the time they entered school until their graduation, as part of a U.S. government study to monitor the physical and mental effects of exposure to radiation. A fact that was not revealed until the documents were discovered 58 years after the bombing. This documentary sheds light on the A-bomb class, the children in it, and details of where the children's mothers were at the time of the Nagasaki blast.
