| Almost sixty years have elapsed
since the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
NHK has produced numerous radio and TV programs about the devastation
caused by the atomic bombings and the importance of peace, in the
hope that such tragedies will never be repeated. These programs are
being distributed around the world, out of a desire for peace, in
the Peace Archives project organized by NHK, the public broadcaster
of the only country to have been subjected to nuclear attack. |
