    SEMI FLAGSHIP STORE TOKYO A store that sells bags and rucksacks made of materials which have been upcycled from outdoor banners of a department store and flags of a shopping arcade. Place: Kamata, Ota-ku, Tokyo

  • Bankadokoro

    Bankadokoro A speciality shop that makes Japanese handmade Western style umbrellas. They also undertake a part of a brand called "akizakura" which reuses old kimonos to produce sunshade umbrellas. Place: Nihombashiodenmacho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo

  • Kimono Haku

    Kimono Haku A kimono shop. Not only kimonos, but they also carry products from a brand called "akizakura" which are sunshade umbrellas made from recycled kimonos. Place: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo

  • Mono: Factory

    Mono: Factory A facility managed by a vendor that takes pride in recycling 99% of all industrial wastes. They sort out social materials and remake them into new products, exhibit and sell upcycled items. They have a showroom in Shinagawa. Place: Komagata-cho, Maebashi-shi, Gunma

  • Ueno Sakuragi Atari

    Ueno Sakuragi Atari A commercial facility renovated from traditional Japanese old houses built in 1938. It has been transformed into a beer hall, specialty salt and olive store etc., expanding to be a popular community space. Place: Uenosakuragi, Taito-ku, Tokyo

  • Sheena & Ippei

    Sheena & Ippei A lodging facility renovated from a long-established Tonkatsu restaurant. The first floor is a cafe. It is a hot spot crowded with locals and tourists from all over the world. Place: Nagasaki, Toshima-ku, Tokyo

  • Bunbuku

    Bunbuku A tavern renovated from a 90 year old public bathhouse. Traces of the good old days still remain inside and its nostalgic atmosphere gains attention. Place: Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo
