The JAPAN PRIZE Video Library is a collection of prize-winning productions from past JAPAN PRIZE Contests. They are available in VHS or DVD formats for researchers and producers/creators of educational content. The aims of the Library are to make the results of the Contest more widely known and to help raise the level of the world's educational contents. The Library was established by NHK, and it received financial support from the Hoso Bunka (Broadcasting Culture) Foundation from 1974 to 2002.
[Lending Terms]
* The tapes/DVDs are available only for use for research and training purposes by broadcasting/media organizations and educational institutes.
* The Library collections can be borrowed free of charge for non-broadcast use only and should be returned within three months.
* Productions from 1972 to 2003 are in VHS format, and those from 2004 to present are in DVD format.
* Expenses arising from lending out the collections, such as transportation costs and customs duties, will be paid by the borrowers.
