Meet the Finalists
(Pre-school Division)
This year’s online shift also produced some new events, including Meet the Finalists, which took place daily for the four days of November 1–4. The special features of online hosting made it possible for finalists to meet each other for the first time and compare notes about the intentions behind their works. Each session was chaired by the principal juror of the division in question.
The opening day was dedicated to the Pre-school Division with the participation of eight finalists around the world. This division attracted many works featuring cartoon and costumed characters, and the topics ranged from where the ideas for each program came from to what they most wanted their viewers to see.
