“Engaging” and “Transmedia”:
The Ideal Model For Children’s Educational Audiovisual Contents

♦October 23(Sun) 18:00-19:30

We are concerned with education that supports the individual’s strengths through self-learning, consideration and sympathy to improve the individual’s natural gifts and to build a better society. Especially for young children, “learning” is not a one-way activity of feeding knowledge but is encouraging the attitudes and behaviors that the child will have in his future process of learning. Then, what should good educational media content for children be comprised of and how can media be used effectively?
In this session, we will take look at history and the diversifying media and discuss how children “engage” in content: how children become interested, enjoy and incorporate new knowledge.
