Category: Secondary Education
Duration: 24 min.
This is an infortainment program designed to teach children between the ages of 11 and 14 living in the multi-racial and multi-faceted culture of South Africa about social issues through an entertaining format.

In this studio style program, navigators and reporters are children of the same age range as the target audience. Their approach to presenting information is straightforward as they investigate animal protection, computer education, eating disorders and other topics.

The program exploits various techniques such as computer graphics, clicking on various icons on the screen and other high-tech effects which make the program as a whole very innovative and interesting for children.

The high evaluation of the jury was mostly because of the child reporters: "They expressed their messages clearly," and, "We want to go to South Africa to see them in person." The children gave reports and interviews quite naturally using their own words. The combination of the energy of the children and high quality production work which produced this stylish and up-to-date program was appreciate by the jury.
