農業（のうぎょう）の可能性（かのうせい）
日本の農業には可能性があると思うよ。
日本では四季（しき）ごとに様々な種類（しゅるい）の野菜や果物が市場に出てきて、そんなところは世界を見ても日本以外あんまりないと思うんだよね。それに、伝統（でんとう）野菜があるのも日本の良いところだよね。地域の気候（きこう）にあった代々（だいだい）受け継（つ）がれている野菜があるのがいいよね。
脱（だつ）サラして農家をする場所に福井を選んだ理由は、四季がしっかりしているからなんだよね。寒暖差（かんだんさ）があると野菜もおいしくなるしね。今はいろんな品種の野菜や果物を作っているけど、越廼（こしの）ルビーという品種のトマト栽培（さいばい）に一番力を入れているよ。自分が自信をもっておいしいといえるトマトを皆に食べてもらいたいな。
将来的には、まだ農業が上手くできていない外国へ農業を教えにいきたいな。技術（ぎじゅつ）をしっかり覚えれば、農業が進んでいない外国でも、いろんな野菜を作れると思うよ。今は、農業をすることが趣味（しゅみ）だから、多くの時間を農業に費（つい）やしたいね。
The Possibilities of Farming
I believe Japanese farming has possibilities.
Whether it’s winter, spring, summer, or fall, Japanese markets abound with various seasonal fruits and vegetables, and when you look around the world there aren’t many places like this. Another great point is that there are traditional vegetables. It’s good that you have vegetables passed on for generations that have adapted to the local climate.
When I quit working as a company employee and decided to start farming, I chose Fukui because there was a clear distinction between the four seasons. You see, vegetables become tastier when there’s a temperature difference. I’m now making a variety of fruits and vegetables, and the one I’m putting in the most effort is a tomato called “Koshi no Ruby.” I would like to have many people eat these tasty tomatoes that I pride in.
In the future I would like to go abroad to countries struggling with agriculture and teach them farming. Even in countries like that, I’m sure people would be able to make various vegetables if farming technology is taught properly. For the time being, farming is my hobby, so I’d like to spend a lot of time on it.
