“I can fully be myself when I’m playing soccer.”

Professional soccer player

MUSASHI lived his life always being told hurtful words just because the color of his skin was different from the others in Japan. When he was in elementary school, he would cry as he walked home from school every day. As he grew up, he began not saying how he really feels just to avoid being attacked by others. However, MUSASHI found that he could be himself when he was playing soccer. And now, he is a professional player. If he could talk to his younger self, he would tell him “It’s okay to be just the way you are. Work hard towards the future, because that is something you have the power to change.”
