By turning the memories of being bullied into plays, I became able to see my experience differently.
When Ryo was in middle school, his bullies would always humiliate him where there were other people watching. Ryo thinks the bullies did that to feel tough. Bystanders would often laugh as they watched Ryo get bullied, and that was shocking to him. Now, Ryo writes scripts for theater and television. He finds theater to be a rewarding job as it lets people reflect on their own life through the experience of others.
