I'm very proud of being Afro-Argentine, and I think it's important that we all feel proud of that, and empower ourselves.




Since CARLOS was a kid, the color of his skin made a difference in the way he was socially perceived, even in the everyday bond with his classmates. Despite the bullying he suffered when he was a teenager for being “black” –as they called him–, in his ancestors’ customs and culture he found the best way of transforming that negative look into a fight for the vindication of his rights. CARLOS is a human rights activist in Buenos Aires.
