I'm thankful to my leukemia.
There is always a way out.
We can use our problems as an opportunity to become better people.
High School Student
One day, FRAN could no longer stand or walk that he was diagnosed with leukemia. After a treatment, he went back to school. However, instead of the expected understanding, he was met with mental and physical abuse from some students. Then he began to suffer from depression. After some time, he told his parents he wanted to start psychotherapy. He began to talk about his feelings and how to find the best solution. He recently began to volunteer at an organization that helps children suffering from malignant diseases and their parents cope with the children's diseases.
