Sautéed Mushrooms with Butter and Wasabi

Mashurumu no bata wasabi Itame

Ingredients (Serves 2)

8 button mushrooms
20 g butter
1/4 tsp prepared wasabi paste
2 tsp soy sauce
coarse salt to taste
shiso leaves, cut into strips

Directions

  1. 1. Cut the mushrooms in half.
  2. 2. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add the wasabi paste and mushrooms and stir-fry over high heat.
  3. 3. Season with salt and soy sauce, then transfer to a serving dish.
  4. 4. Top with shiso leaves cut into strips and serve.
