Fried Chicken with Ground Koya Tofu

Tori niku no Kouya tofu age

Ingredients (Serves 2)

1 chicken breast
egg
flour
2 slices Koya tofu

vegetable oil, for deep-frying

1/2 lemon, for garnish
watercress

Directions

  1. 1. Cut the chicken breast into easy-to-eat pieces.
  2. 2. Finely grate the koya tofu.
  3. 3. Dredge the cut chicken breast in flour, then dip it in beaten egg and then the grated koya tofu.
  4. 4. Deep-fry for about one minute in 170°C oil.
  1. 5. Lightly salt the fried chicken.
  2. 6. Serve on a plate garnished with lemon wedges and watercress.
