Grilled Shrimp with Soy Sauce

Ebi no guriru shoyu sosu

Ingredients (Serves 4)

8 jumbo shrimp, thawed if frozen
2 tsp salt
3 tbsp minced Italian parsley
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 dried red chilli pepper
Juice from 1/2 lemon

Directions

  1. 1. Sprinkle salt over the shrimp (with their shells still on).
  2. 2. Place the shrimp onto the grill over high heat, grilling for 3 minutes on one side, then turn them over to grill for another 3 minutes on the other side.
  3. 3. To make sauce, mince the Italian parsley and dried red chili pepper.
  4. 4. Add the olive oil, soy sauce, and lemon juice, and mix together.
  1. 5. Serve the grilled shrimp with the sauce on the side. When eating the shrimp, remove the heads and shells by hand, then dip in the sauce and eat.
