Developed by NHK, the world's first 300,00-pixel ultrahigh-speed, high-sensitivityportable color camera can capture images at up to 1,000,000 frames/sec. The camera are capable of capturing clear, smooth, slow-motion video even in conditions with limited lighting, such as at professional baseball games played at night. This camera enabled an entirely new style of presentation for sports broadcasts,science programs and so on.

Developed by NHK, this HDTV high-speed camera uses three 2.2 M-pixel CMOS image devices. The camera enables image acquisition at a maximum speed of 300 fps and stores the image sequences directly in a semiconductor memory in the camera head.
