Outline

Live Broadcasting On-Demand Access System or LiveDAS is a system that enables live broadcasting by use of the Internet connection.  It takes an easy-to-use 'dockable' mechanism, meaning that it is mounted to a portable ENG camera such as HDCAM for use.  Though the image quality depends on the circuit condition and bandwidth, it allows low running cost by establishing a live transmission circuit from various network options (e.g. FOMA, LAN, Wireless LAN) according to your need.

  • NTT DoCoMo's FOMA packet communication service enables you to establish a transmission circuit from the places where live broadcasting used to be very difficult, such as underground shopping mall, subway, downtown and airport. This is useful in the case of breaking news.
  • Wired LAN allows live broadcasting from hot spots in the town or someone’s home.
  • The system is effective in transmission from abroad, too. Use of hotel network services achieves a very low cost broadcasting. Transmission via INMALSAT-M4 (Multi-media Mini M) and BGAN (IP communication service using INMALSAT) are also available.
  • Video and audio returns can be delivered to the site easily in high quality.
