From the Results of the January 2007 Public Opinion Survey “The Japanese and the Media”

The NHK Broadcasting Culture Research Institute carried out a comprehensive research project, ‘The Japanese and the Media’ from 11th to 14th January, 2007, surveying 2000 men and women aged 20 and over across Japan on the current state of digital equipments usage and ownership, recognition for the related services and intention to introduce them. 1365 valid responses (68.3% validity) were collected with the following major results.
